Well, DS should be used with other high adrenaline attacks so that the adrenaline gain is used to it's best potential. Here's what I use is PvE;
Sun and Moon Slash
Standing Slash
Galrath Slash
Silverwing Slash
Dragon Slash
Flail
Healing Signet/Lions Comfort
Rez
I know 7 of those skills are adrenaline based, but I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie so if you're not comfortable with them then feel free to change them.
Also, some people like to put "For Great Justice" in so that you can get just a little bit more from Dragon Slash, but I prefer another attack skill instead. Once again it comes down to preference.
Note that this probably isn't the best build but it's what I like and find fun (if I'm fully charged with adrenaline I can rip bosses apart), and that's what matters right?

My favourite PvE Dragon Slash build is:
Swordsmanship 16
Strength 13
[card]"For Great Justice!"[/card][card]Enraging Charge[/card][card]Flail[/card][card]Standing Slash[/card][card]Silverwing Slash[/card][card]Sun and Moon Slash[/card][card]Dragon Slash[/card][card]resurrection Signet[/card]
And as energy usage isn't a problem with such a build, and there are no Tactics skills being used, may as well take Sentinel's armour too.
Sword:
Use a "+15% while in a Stance" inscription.
Either an Elemental or Vampiric mod.
+5AL or +30HP, although +5AL is better suited to PvE.
Shield:
+30HP always
-2 received physical damage while in a stance.
Yeah, there's no self heal, but that's what monks are for.
This allows you to kill stuff quick.

This is my current setup:
Sword Mastery 12+1+1
Strength 12+1
Put the rest wherever
[skill]flail[/skill][skill]standing slash[/skill][skill]silverwing slash[/skill][skill]sun and moon slash[/skill][skill]dragon slash[/skill][skill]mending touch[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
Using Forgotten Sword or Sskai's Sword, depending on what I feel like looking at. Looking for advice on which weapon is best to use.

You need a cancel stance for Flail, and a move buff. Use Rush, or Enraging Charge.

@Muk: Sskai's sword is a good choice; a vamp sword is slightly better for dps, though you won't get sun+moon charged as quickly.
I pretty much use Nexus's build, except I run sever+gash in areas where I can do bleeding. In Joko's domain, or anywhere with a lot of elementals, his build trumps mine, but I can do a deep wound, which is a personal preference. (I feel dirty without one).
Here is generally my full bar:
Sever/Gash/Galrath/Sun+moon/Dragon Slash/IAS of choice (I use frenzy, flail is a pain in the ass sometimes due to the reduced speed movement)/Enraging Charge/Distracting blow.
I bet you're thinking: no rez? but this is pve, and I play with heroes. My hencies can have hard rezzes, I'd rather just do as much damage as humanly possible. That being said, I like to roll with an orders necro with judge's insight, and a paragon with GFTE! and find their weakness, along with another dragon slash warrior and a hero prot monk. if using GFTE! and FTW, you actually don't need sever+gash as badly, but the low adrenaline cost on them is kind of nice to start pumping out damage right away. I reccomend finding room for wild throw on your paragon, as neither you or Koss can afford to bring wild blow. I'm still fairly early in nightfall with my warrior and have been bringing the dervish hero just for wild blow, plus avatar of balthazar is a pretty decent pve form.

Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash
Dragon Slash
Tiger Stance/Flail
Sprint/Endure Pain/Lions Comfort
For Great Justice
Res Signet
Why does nobody use Gash... 20% less health is more powerful than +43 damage. And Gash does +20 if you cycle it.

My warrior is just for PvE. I don't find it efficient enough on its own to provide a deep wound, and I don't want to waste two slots on it (by bringing Sever Artery). I'm not trading Silverwing and Galrath for it. Deep wound isn't that important in PvE.

Yup, the only reason I've started bringing res along recently is because I've been pugging more.
If I'm playing with all heroes and henchies, out goes res and in comes Distracting Blow, or something else useful.
I'd really love to bring Wild Blow, but it completely gimps the build.
Changing to W/A for Expose Defenses can be great for dealing with stance users in PvE, such as Arms of Torment. They generally use Lightning Reflexes just as they go into Call to the Torment. As they take double damage whilst using this skill, it's in your best interest to penetrate the stance as quickly as possible, otherwise you'll end up with 2 Arms where there was only one before.
Now Expose Defenses isn't as quick as Wild Blow, but at least you still have your adrenaline to work with.
That and it puts Warrior's Cunning to shame. Seriously, there's a skill that needs looking at.
With only 3 points in Deadly Arts, Expose Defenses gives me 8 seconds of my attacks ignoring stances and can be re-cast every 10 seconds, for 10 energy.
Yet Warrior's Cunning?
With 3 points in Strength, it lasts for a paltry 6 seconds, costs 10 energy and takes 60 seconds to recharge. At 13 Strength, it lasts for 10 seconds. Yes, there's no activation time, but is that worth the lengthy cooldown?
Meh.
Sorry for straying off topic there.

3 Chapters Dragon Swordsman
[skill=card]Deadly Riposte[/skill][skill=card]Gash[/skill][skill=card]Sun and Moon Slash[/skill][skill=card]Dragon Slash[/skill][skill=card]Flail[/skill][skill=card]Enraging Charge[/skill][skill=card]Lion's Comfort[/skill][skill=card]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
This has all the makings of a solid Dragon Slash build. In AB, change the res sig for distracting blow. I have also used a similar build with a shock sword/ conjure lightning build in AB as well.
I know a few may not think that DR isn't what they would use, but LC and DR will both work for the better for the investment in tactics.

It depends on the situation. Normally, for PvE, I'd agree with you. Just keep in mind that Deep Wound also reduces the effectiveness of healing on the victim, so if you ever find yourself in a situation of needing to take someone down who has significant healing support, it may be worth considering.
